Our Rooms
Beginning as a farm in the 1700s, this home has served as a respite for travelers, a ship captain’s dry ground, as well as a gathering place for the community. We have worked over the past three years to highlight its historical qualities while refreshing each guest room with modern and international touches that make them peaceful, unique, and beautiful.

Suite 2
Suite 3
Affectionately known as the “pink room,” this first-floor room is bright, calm, and spacious. The natural plaster walls have been restored while allowing the history of the material to still be felt. The bathroom features a bright white lime plaster shower with a natural river stone floor. We anticipate you will be refreshed and rested after a couple nights in this suite.
Just off the downstairs living room, this suite sits on the corner of the house, overlooking the backyard. It is quiet and open, with exquisite light that illuminates the historical features and custom artwork that ornament the room. Marbelized blue plaster walls of the bathroom will transport you to the Mediterranean, making this suite a favorite among travelers.
Travel up the hand-painted staircase to your intimate dwelling. The Greek-like bedroom will lull you to sleep with floor-to-ceiling blue lime wash walls that read like a heavenly sky. It is a wonderful stay for a winter’s evening where one could sit (or nap) in front of the room’s fireplace. Step from the bedroom through the muraled foyer into a custom-designed bathroom and enjoy all that this room has to offer.

View RoomAbout
Eileen of Mystic was not planned, not fundraised, not crowd-funded. It was and is the offspring of a husband and wife, Josh and Erin Cave, who traded in their lives in the New York City artworld for an old home and seaport town they knew next to nothing about.
Purchasing this old bed and breakfast gave them a shared objective. Erin had long dreamt of a place where she could exercise her affections for hospitality, food, and gardening. As for Josh, he just has a lot of energy and needs a lot to do. So it turns out, the restoration of a 1700s farmhouse is just about enough to keep him occupied.
They share a conviction for creating environments that exude beauty and tranquility, leaning into natural materials and blended aesthetics, while maintaining high standards of excellence that extend beyond the visual into the functional and physically experiential. They desire for Eileen to exceed your expectations of what a bed and breakfast can be.
